Coyotes, Cooks and Simon Cowell: The Best of Tonight’s TV

We're preparing ourselves for a night with our remote! Here's what we'll be watching.

It’s Thursday and if you’re anything like us you’re planning a wonderful evening on the couch in preparation for an exciting weekend ahead. There’s some great telly on tonight so get those slippers on, and the kettle boiling. Here’s what we’ll be watching!

Coyote Ugly – Sky Living (9:00pm)

Okay, we know it’s a bit unconventional but we love this cheesy romantic flick, which reminds us of our teenage days when Leanne Rimes was actually still popular. Anyway, the story is about a shy song-writer who moves to the Big Apple to discover her dream only to be crippled by on stage nerves. She takes a job in a racy bar and finds love. This is definitely one to watch tonight!

MasterChef Ireland – RTÉ Two (9:30pm)

The new series of the hit Irish cooking show is back tonight and we’re excited to see what the new contestants have in store. Tonight features the auditions where Dylan McGrath and Nick Munier narrow down the hopefuls.

X Factor USA – TV3 (9:00pm)

Finally, the auditions are over and Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid narrow down the contestants in the boot-camp stage of the show. We love watching our favourite meanie Simon Cowell back in action on the American talent show!

Super Garden – RTÉ One (8:30pm)

If you’re a keen gardener tonight’s show is definitely one to watch as Benny Maguire revamps the garden of software engineer Ciaran Byrne in Dublin. We’re looking forward to watching Benny struggle with weeds and rubble before seeing the amazing transformation into a perfect garden.

The Corrie Years – ITV1 (8:30pm)

Are you soap-aholics on the look out for your drama fix tonight? Check out The Corrie Years, where Katherine Kelly relives some of the soap-opera’s most exciting scenes throughout the years. Keep an eye out for old favourites!
