Sally Lindsay has revealed that she would love nothing more than to return to Coronation Street.
In fact the actress said that working on the soap was one of her favourite jobs and she could see the end of her career on the cobbles.
She told Closer magazine: “It’s still one of my favourite jobs ever.
“I’d love to be like Betty and go back in my 60s and stay there until I’m 90. What a great retirement job that would be.”
Sally played Shelley Unwin for five years in the show, from 2001 and 2006. Since then she has appeared in Scott & Bailey and Mount Pleasant.
