Georgia May Foote (Katy Armstrong) is set to leave Coronation Street later this month and it looks as though the actress is set for the bright lights of Hollywood.
An American soap entitled Heaven in the Hills has been tipped for a 2016 release date and reports say Georgia is very likely to win a role in the new TV show.
A source spoke to The Sun saying: “She already has a modelling deal lined up and there is very realistic prospect that the Hollywood opportunity will come off.
“Heaven Is The Hills is currently being commissioned and the casting people may also be looking for either a British or Australian male to star as well”.
The 24-year-old recently split from her fiancé John Sage with the insider describing this news as “surprising”.
“Everyone was very surprised because she has always been very happy with him and never been interested in a showbiz lifestyle. But this will be a new start for her”.
