Amy Huberman has revealed that herself and rugby husband Brian O’Driscoll are too busy to have children.
The Irish actress said she will embrace motherhood for the new season of her hit comedy Threesome but said children are not on the cards for herself or Brian.
The 33-year-old Dublin woman, who married Irish rugby team player Brian two years ago, told the Irish Daily Mail; “We don’t have any time in our lives right now!
“Of course there are kids in the future but we are both enjoying work at the moment. It’s very bectic for the two of us right now and it’s nice to have time to indulge that.
“Down the line it’ll definitely be nice to bring kids into the madness. God love them!”
We think they’d be very lucky kids!
The second series of Huberman’s hilarious Threesome kicks off on Comedy Central next Monday and follows Alice, Mitch and Richie as they struggle to deal with their new roles in parenthood after falling into bed with each other last season.
The show was a hit from the word “go” and Amy promised plenty of new, off-beat storylines this season.
“The shows’s writers have been really original in how they’ve approached the theme,” she said.
“It would be really easy to go down the typical route of a new baby, oh look dirty nappies, breastfeeding, get some sleep.
“They could put us into all sorts of hilarious scrapes, the list is endless, but we wanted to avoid that because it’s been done, people have seen it all before.
“So there are some really fantastic stories that do deal with people who have a new baby, but in a completely original way.”

Very different from her day’s in RTÉ’s The Clinic, Amy said her fall into comedy was unexpected, but welcomed.
“I never stood back and thought, you know, “I think I’m quite good at this”. It’s just a case of the more you do, the more roles it leads to.”
At the beginning of the year, Amy landed a role in the pilot show for the US comedy Animal Practice, but was left disappointed when she was told she would be replaced by JoAnna Garcia for the remainder of the series.
“Looking back, I’m not sure if it would have worked out anyway, so I have to believe it happened for the right reasons.
“Another thing I learned is it’s not the Holy Grail over there (the States). I want to be in stuff that’s good. I’m not going to dive into any role just because it’s in the States. I’ll definitely get more work over there, but only when the time is right.”
