Susan Sarandon has reportedly split with her boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin after five years together.
According to Page Six, the couple split up as a result of 37-year-old Bricklin’s involvement with a reality series called Connected, which follows the lives of six people and their partners over the course of six months.
“It caused a lot of strain on the relationship,” a source revealed. “It’s documented for the show that Susan breaks up with him because she doesn’t want to be involved with the show. She says, ‘You’re a cast member, I’m not’.”
Another source revealed: “As of now, they’re working on things.”
The couple have been dating since 2010 and have been extremely private about their relationship.
“We don’t live under the same roof. We’re not an ordinary couple,” Susan said of the relationship in the past.
“It’s the soul of a person that interests me. When you are in love, the question of age, sex, colour no longer hold any importance,” the 68-year-old actress concluded.
