Irish mammies never fail to shock and amaze us and this latest text from one Irish mammy gave us a fit of the mid-week giggles.
The text message, posted to Facebook by Naomi Tuohy Hooban, shows one mammy’s attempt at giving directions, and it’s pretty hilarious.
From telling her daughter to keep an eye out for “a five bar gate” on the left and to be careful if she goes to the “end of that road you have passed it” this is not only a fine example of typical mammy directions but typical Irish directions in general.
The best part of it all? Her daughter actually found where she was meant to be going.
