In a new style series, we’re interviewing some of Ireland’s top fashion designers.
Emma Manley was first to feature and up next is Caroline Matthews, an accomplished bridal and fashion designer.
Speaking at a showcase featuring her new collection, Leeds native Caroline told us about her dislike of matchy matchy looks, hatred of culottes and intention to launch a handbag collection.
Her designs are all clean lines and impeccable tailoring and we detected a Victoria Beckham vibe, no surprise there as Caroline cites the former Spice Girl as one of her inspirations.
When chatting about her vision for her new range, Caroline said that she wanted her dresses to take “women from day to night”.
Any design that can do jobs for the price of one is music to our ears…
