Albeit years later, the lovely Jason Biggs has just confirmed what we always thought…
The American Pie star admitted he was very, very worried about what his mother would think about the infamous apple pie scene.
The classic teen movie franchise, the first to really push the boundaries with its cheeky humour at the time, features Biggs tempted by, and getting down and dirty with, his on-screen mother’s apple pie in her pristine kitchen.
Biggs confessed to being fearful about what his relatives would make of him introducing his manhood to the sweet treat in the 1999 film.
“I did worry what my mother would think. At the time I was auditioning for everything, I would do anything,” the 34-year-old confessed on UK breakfast show This Morning.
“But that script really separated itself, it was funny but there was a sweetness… I’m not talking about the sweetness of the pastry.”

This year, the cast reunited for the fourth theatrical film, American Pie: The Reunion, to show how the character’s lives had developed since their high school and college days.
It seems Jason mightn’t have learnt from any of his cringe-worthy lessons in his younger years as the latest flick saw Biggs go nude too.
“The good thing about getting the DVD is you can press pause and enjoy it for as long as you want,” the star joked.
“I would appreciate it if you would go out and buy a big screen, although maybe you don’t want it in high definition.”
Apple pie incident or not, Biggs will always have a place in our teenage hearts. ..
