For months now, Eastenders fans have been waiting to find out the identity of Lucy Beale’s killer and in last night’s episode, it looked as though Max Branning had given the game away.
Twitter went into meltdown afterwards with many questioning whether Max said “who killed Lucy?” or “you killed Lucy” when speaking to his daughter Abi.
Also don’t understand why people are confused by what @mrjakedwood said… It was clearly ‘you’!! well done for causing Twitter chaos

You you YOU!!! If u ask me it couldn’t have been clearer @mrjakedwood – guessing it was a statement rather than ‘fact’ though #EastEnders

Jake took to Twitter last night to clear up the confusion and it was clear he was delighted with the reaction to his lines.
For the benefit of the Internet and mankind in general please RT YOU. Thank YOU (see what I did there?) #EELive #justthebeginning
