Alright ladies, do you want to hear what’s occurin’? Well we’re very happy to announce that Joanna Page, of Gavin and Stacey fame, has revealed that she’s expecting her first baby!
Yes, it’s true and we’re absolutely delighted for her. Joanna took to her Twitter account earlier today in order to share the good news with her 79,653 followers.
Joanna’s husband, actor James Thornton, also took to the social networking website in order to spread the good news and tweeted something in a similar vein, telling his followers that he was “delighted” with the news.
The couple have been married for a grand total of nine years, and last year, Joanna made no secret of the fact that she was looking to start a family and couldn’t wait to hear the pitter-patter of little feet in her house.

“Careers, when they take off, can take your mind off babies temporarily, but I think it always comes back to when the time is right,” Joanna said.

According to HeatWorld.com, the actor celebrated his stag do earlier this week. Jamie Redknapp, Jimmy Carr and Jack Whitehall are reported to be among the famous faces who blindfolded James and took him to the grounds of West Ham United for a game of footie. Then, in typical stag fashion, the boys hit up London town for an evening of laughter, drinks and shenanigans.
So it’s double celebrations for the Gavin and Stacey cast this week. We wonder if baby Page will be calling Nessa ‘Auntie’?
