We all get a little bit broody from time to time, but newly-divorced Katie Holmes is reportedly determined to have another baby “with or without” a man.
Now magazine is reporting that Katie has become obsessed with the idea of having another child so that her six-year old daughter Suri has a sibling to play with.
This seems fair enough, but there is another reason why Katie is allegedly so keen to get pregnant as soon as possible. Apparently the actress doesn’t want Suri to grow up as a lonely child and she believes that giving Suri a little brother or sister will help keep her safe from Scientology.
“She thinks having a child away from the influence of Scientology will help Suri,” said a source, speaking to the magazine.
“She has no plans to marry again, but she’s always wanted more kids,” the source added.

Ever since Katie went public with her split (and subsequent divorce) from Tom Cruise, she has been super busy. She is believed to be in the process of negotiating a book deal about her marriage to the actor and she’s also been working on a clothing line. Plus, it is rumoured that she’s set to be the new face of Bobbie Brown cosmetics.
From all the activity currently going on in Katie’s life, it’s looks like her divorce has worked wonders for her career…
