We’re a stickler for Kevin McCloud’s house makeover series and especially now that he is kicking off the series in Ireland tonight. Share owner Sean Simons’ love for his Roscommon Castle and watch him transform it into a theatrical mock 16th century home. Too kitsch perhaps? Check it out tonight.
Anger Management – Comedy Central (21:00-22:00)
After nearly getting into a fight with his ex-wife’s new boyfriend, professional therapist Charlie Goodson decides he needs therapy himself. And who is this therapist? None other than Charlie Sheen himself. Episode 2 follows at 9:30pm and sees Charlie create even more problems for himself when he meets a blast from the past. We just cannot wait to see Sheen back on the small screen again…
Emmerdale – TV3 (19:00-19:30)
We’re on high soap-watch alerts this week, especially with Emmerdale as the drama between Carl, Cameron and Chas heats up. Carl is feeling pleased with himself and witnessing the kiss between Cameron and Chas as he now has an advantage. He steals her phone and gets everything he needs for revenge. The Blind Side – RTE1 (21:35-23:50)
Check out Sandra Bullock’s Oscar-winning performance in the 2009 fact-based drama ‘The Blind Side’. A middle-class family take in a hulking homeless teenager, who has no education or skills to speak of. The wife encourages him to turn his life around, helping him to get the grades he needs for a college scholarship and hone his sporting skills to become an American football player. Starring an Oscar-winning Sandra Bullock alongside Quinton Aaron and Tim McGraw.
Dead Good Job – BBC2 (21:00-22:00)
You could guess what this new series is about form the tongue-in-cheek name alone, and it is supposed to be very interesting. The fly-on-the-wall show takes a look at the changes the modern-day funeral is experiencing and the work of the undertakers. It shows everything from the Muslims trying to bury their loved ones in a race against time as they want to allow the soul to make a fast journey to paradise after death to the growing number of people who are choosing non-religious funerals.
