Geri Halliwell may be feeling the sting since Russell Brand was pictured out and about with a new lady friend, but it seems like she has an unexpected admirer who thinks Russell Brand is being a “d**k.”
Apparently the original 90s hard man, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, thinks Geri Halliwell is “all right” and that she could do so much better than settling for Russell Brand.
“Russell’s a d**k. I don’t care about any of his relationships. All I know is anyone can do better than go out with him. I get on with Geri, she’s all right,” said Liam.
“We’ve both got small dogs so we meet on Hampstead Heath sometimes,” he added.
We never thought we’d see the day that Liam Gallagher would stick up for a Spice Girl, but there you have it.

Apparently Geri and Russell were dating for all of two weeks before things took a turn for the worst.
“Geri was smitten but things have petered out a tad…He isn’t ready to settle down so soon after coming out of marriage, whereas Geri is probably more ready to have a relationship,” said a source, speaking recently.
And it didn’t take Russell too long to move on. Earlier this week he was spotted hanging out with a new lady – a 24-year old drama student. And when the pictures appeared in the paper, an upset-looking Geri was spotted near her home in London.
We wonder if it really is the end for Russell and Ginger Spice or if they’ll reconcile?
