There’s tense scenes ahead in Coronation Street when Owen Armstrong’s ex-wife Linda arrives next week.
Linda is hoping to reunite with her daughters Izzy and Katy after a number of years and it appears she is harbouring a dark secret which could cause trouble for Owen.
It seems that Owen (Ian Pulseton-Davies) hasn’t exactly been honest with his daughters about why their mother hasn’t been in their lives.
Speaking to the Radio Times, Ian said: “Owen hasn’t been quite as honest with Katy and Izzy about their mother as he should have been”.
“So when Linda then turns up, his immediate thoughts are that she will want to tell the girls the entire truth and that they’ll think he’s been lying to them all this time.

Things are going to get very complicated for Owen
“Owen knows that things are about to blow up. The past has caught up with them all and I think he’s very scared that it’s all about to blow up at any minute.”
Ian also made reference to the fact that Linda has previously tried to get in contact with her children but her ex stood in her way.
“Owen will have made it very clear to her that she’s not welcome and that she should leave them alone” said Ian.
Actress Jacqueline Leonard is playing the role of Linda and her first scenes will air on Monday February 9th.
