Let the girls see the celeb!

Okay, so it’s not as ‘imaginative’ as one of host Paddy McGuinness’ lines but it does sum up the concept behind Take Me Out’s Christmas special.

It has been announced that the ITV show is doing a seasonal special this year which involves four male celebrities trying to bag themselves a date.

Paddy talking to some of the girls who appeared on the last series.

If you haven’t seen the programme, an eligible bachelor comes out and tries to win a date with one of the 30 women. However if all of the women press their buzzers and put out their lights, to show they’re not interested, the bachelor goes home all alone.

Which will be even more embarrassing if that bachelor is well-known which they will be for the special.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘It should make for fantastic viewing. These celebs are putting themselves out there.

‘It could lead to a match made in heaven – but it could also end in disaster. Either way, viewers will be gripped.’

Olly Murs is one name in the frame to appear but it hasn’t been confirmed.

As yet, no celebrities have been confirmed as contestants on the show however pop singer Olly Murs has shown a desire to appear.

Wonder if he’s regretting making that statement right now?
