English Train Station Urges People To ‘Kiss And Ride’

It's a sign...

Kissing is the universal term giving to sharing an affectionate moment with someone you know (or two kisses if its a European welcome). The term ‘ride’ however, has many connotations.

We’ve heard of ‘park and ride’ but ‘kiss and ride’?!

A train station in Preston, England, has erected a signpost that all Irish folk will find amusing.

The station wants to prevent cars from parking up and instead urges people to ‘kiss and ride’.

Are we reading that one correctly?!

Virgin Rail, (yes, really), decided to give their passengers something to smile about at the beginning of their journey and placed a large blue and white sign outside its entrance:

ITV’s Philip Schofield tweeted his appreciation for the new signpost: “Love this sign, but not sure Ian who dropped me off would have appreciated a goodbye peck on the cheek.”

Philip, we were thinking something entirely different.

We’re just grateful it didn’t also have the words ‘Do Not Block Entrance’, that just would’ve been too much for us to handle.
