Charlize Theron is putting down her Evil Queen knife and picking up a notebook and pen for a new film she is said to be producing.
The actress looks set to produce a film about the late war reporter Marie Colvin according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Marie Colvin covered a number of wars during her career.
Marie Colvin was a war correspondent for the Sunday Times. She died earlier this year while covering the Syrian uprising.
Rumours also have it Charlize will play the role of the journalist in the big screen version, entitled Marie Colvin’s Private War, but this is yet to be confirmed.
If it does happen, it won’t be the first time Charlize has taken on a real-life character. She also played serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the film Monster.
The South African actress certainly knows how to pick a challenging role!
