Just when you thought Taylor Swift couldn’t get any sounder, news broke this week that she sent a cheque to help clear off one of her fan’s student loans just because she’s that cool.
Taylor reportedly gifted one of her fans with a massive box of presents which included a cheque for $1989 (coinciding with her album 1989) to help pay off the fan’s loans.
According to reports, fan Rebekah Bortniker made a video of Taylor and her celebrity friends set to the theme tune of hit TV show Friends.
Her reward? A big box of Taylor goodies and a very welcome cheque.

Taylor continued to show how sound she was by sending the thrilled fan a handwritten card.
“I love the video you made of me and my friends, and your text posts always crack me up or make me think,” she wrote.
“I got out my paints for the first time in a while today and made you something I really really really really hope you like it (sic).
“I’m not a good painter but I think you’re so beautiful and positive, even though you’re dealing with the stress life brings, so I wanted to make you something,” she added.
The parcel revealed a snap of Taylor painting, a necklace and a cheque.
