Gary Oldman is a huge film star but that doesn’t stop him appreciating the finer things in life such as a nice meal or a good television programme.
According to The Irish Sun this morning, the award-winning actor has praised Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery for her performance on the popular period drama.
Michelle Dockery is one of the many stars that appear in the show.
Michelle, who plays Lady Mary Crawley in the ITV show, told the newspaper: ‘We were at an event in New York recently and he came over and sort of said he enjoyed the show. That’s amazing.’
When you think of some of the incredible films Oldman has starred in, including The Dark Knight Rises and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, that’s quite a compliment!
