Another two stars took to the Twitter machine to voice their opinions of each other at the weekend.
Popstar Rihanna was not impressed when Joan Rivers spoke about ‘that talk’ she recently had with Oprah Winfrey on the ‘Next Chapter’.
The superstar singer and the ‘Fashion Police’ host had a heated exchange on the social networking site on Friday. Rivers began the spat, calling Rihanna “an idiot” for revealing she still has feelings for her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown.
“Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it’s MY turn to slap her,” Rivers tweeted.
Rihanna quickly replied, saying, “@Joan_Rivers wow u really do get slow when you’re old huh?”
The Caribbean star later deleted that message, but wrote a message up on the micro-blogging site; “Slap on some diapers”.
She also tweeted a cryptic photo of a bible proverb passage, on how to ‘control your speech’. Was she trying to say something to the ‘Fashion Police’ matriarch?
Rivers later quipped; “Honey, @Rihanna, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he’ll hit you again. Read the statistics. PS – Love to have you on Fashion Police!”
Possibly the most unusual invitation to any star-guest on the show…
Joan Rivers certainly doesn’t hold back on the Twitter machine, she let everyone know what she thought of Miley Cyrus’ new hair-cut too… we’re waiting for a response Miley!
