Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh looks set to light up the dance floor in the latest series of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
According to reports the singer turned actress is one of the latest celebrities to sign on the dotted line for this year’s show.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ‘When we heard she was interested we were thrilled. Now everyone’s dying to see her moves. She’s a great name to have got.’
Kimberley will go up against the likes of former This Morning presenter Fern Britton and the Great British Bake Off’s Paul Hollywood.
Television presenter Fern Britton is said to be appearing on this year’s show.
Also in the frame are Eastenders actor Sid Owen, singer Nicky Byrne and Olympic medallist Beth Tweddle.
The popular show sees a number of celebrities compete against each other alongside professional dance partners.
Previous winners of the show include actress Kara Tointon, Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon and McFly’s Harry Judd.
Last year’s winner Harry Judd with his professional dance partner.
