It’s one of those days where you need an umbrella but could find yourself struggling to keep a hold of it!
According to Met Éireann we are in for a wet and windy day with strong winds and heavy rain expected across the country. There is also a risk of spot flooding.
Temperatures will be around 10 to 12 degrees during the day but will drop this evening to around 3 to 5 degrees. Showers will also become more scattered as the day progresses.
The weather forecaster has issued a yellow status weather warning for strong to gale force winds along the Atlantic coast. This is in place until 3.00pm this afternoon.
Tomorrow will be drier with scattered showers and higher temperatures while Friday is expected to be mild with heavy downpours and strong gusts.
