Former X Factor contestant Parisa Tarjomani has paid tribute to her late mother Sophia who passed away after a long battle with lung cancer.
The singer, who makes up one quarter of pop group Only The Young, posted this picture on Instagram on Sunday.
She wrote: “Today I lost my incredible, inspiring and beautiful Mum. Thank you for giving us the life you did. I’ve never met a woman quite like you.
“Heaven has gained an angel and I know you’re watching over us. I love you forever Mum”.
A heartfelt statement was also sent out from the band’s official Twitter account yesterday.
