The gorgeous Evanna Lynch thinks her role in the Harry Potter movies didn’t give her the chance to show off her full acting abilities.
The Irish actress played the quirky Luna Lovegood in the hugely successful franchise and has struggled to find the right roles for herself since.
The 21-year-old Louth girl said; “I definitely feel I still have to prove myself in the industry.
“While I got a lot of support and was very lucky to be well received in Harry Potter, I don’t think it proved my acting ability.
“What has also been tricky is coming from that background I don’t feel like I can just take any role. It has to be good stuff and trying to find the perfect fit is hard.
“But I will never be anything other than grateful for my experience there.”

Evanna’s Harry Potter female co-star Emma Watson has worked on both ‘My Week with Marilyn’ and ‘The Perks of Being A Wallflower’ since the film series, the latter of which will be released in the UK and Ireland on October 3rd. The English actress has four other films in the pipeline for the next two years.
