Ciaran Hinds will star in season three of HBO’s medieval dram Game of Thrones.
The Irish actor has landed the role of Mance Raydar who has, as yet, only been mentioned but never seen on screen.
Sean Bean is just one of the famous faces that can be seen in the programme.
Hinds has already starred in a number of HBO programmes including Rome as Julius Caesar.
He has also starred in a number of hit films including Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Munich and The Woman in Black.
