We don’t think we’re the only ones to wonder where on earth 2014 disappeared to.
It was a decidedly stylish year and thanks to our regular Her Look of the Day feature, we have a few celebrity fashion crushes.
While we may not be able to afford their exact outfits, we can definitely admire them and of course try to find similar looks on the high street.
Kate Middleton
While Kate has been a style favourite of ours for quite some time, she really came into her own this year. This ice blue Jenny Packham number was a stand-out piece and a panelled black Temperley dress showed the Duchess knows how to silence her critics.
Keira Knightley
Prada, Valentino,Chanel…need we go on. We could actually write an entire feature on Keira’s style alone but we better not do that considering there are others to feature. Can we just take a moment for the white Chanel mini dress below, and there were a number of Valentino ensembles… okay, okay we’re done.
Lupita N’yongo
Lupita killed it in the fashion stakes this year. The Oscar winning actress landed a Vogue cover, a Miu Miu contract and she just happens to be the new face of Lancôme. Pretty impressive to be fair. Her Cinderella moment at the Oscars was breath-taking not to mind the beautiful red Ralph Lauren cape dress (below) she wore at the Golden Globes. We pretty much LOVE her.
Victoria Beckham
This is another lady who tends to feature on stylish lists quite often and it’s no surprise given her rather successful clothing line. Victoria was awarded brand of the year for her designs at the British Fashion Awards and every time she steps out, she looks impeccable. From jeans and t-shirt to glamorous gowns, the mother-of-four knows how to work it.
Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney has emerged as one of the most popular style icons. We were obsessed with the cream Dolce and Gabbana suit she wore for the couple’s civil ceremony (see below) and of course her lace Oscar de la Renta wedding dress. Bring on her 2015 style…
