Both Miss Ireland and Miss Northern Ireland have missed out on the Miss World title today.
The crown went to the home representative Miss China, 23 year old Yu Wenxia.
During the final Yu explained why she wanted to win: ‘When I was young, I felt very lucky because so many people helped me, and I hope in the future I can help more children to feel lucky.’
Miss Wales Sophie Moulds was the first runner-up followed by Miss Australia Jessica Kahawaty.
