As you probably already know, the X Factor kicks off on TV3 tonight but with a few hours still to spare, we thought we’d run through the five best singers or groups to come out of the show in the last nine years.
1. Leona Lewis – Bleeding Love
She was the shy girl with the huge voice, one that arguably hasn’t been rivalled since. Will this year see a threat to Leona’s crown as the most successful singer to come out of the X Factor?
2. JLS -Everybody in Love
Despite not winning the show four years ago, boy band JLS have done incredibly well out of the X Factor. Their achievements so far include two Brit Awards and three UK number one singles.
3. Alexandra Burke – Start Without You
Now to the woman who pipped JLS to the post, Alexandra Burke is a lady with lots of talent and bags of attitude (and we don’t mean the bad kind). Start Without You was one of her biggest songs.
4. One Direction – What Makes You Beautiful
You can’t argue that One Direction have taken the world by storm. From number one records to sell-out tours, these boys aren’t going to disappear any time soon by the looks of it.
5. Jedward – Lipstick
We couldn’t not include these two boys in the list. They are Irish after all! But that’s not the only reason. It’s clear to see these two work hard for their success.
