There’s nothing we love more than a good reality television cameo appearance – guest judges on The X-Factor? Holla! Anyway, we have to say we were a little surprised when we heard about the following potential cameo.
The Irish Independent reports that Ellie Goulding, the pop star who brought us the incredibly catchy ‘Starry-eyed’, apparently wants to make an appearance on Geordie Shore. Yes, seriously.
Ellie joined the cast of MTV’s reality show earlier in the week for a night out and, according to reports, she told the Newcastle gang that she would absolutely love a role in the next series. Random or what?
“Ellie is absolutely addicted to the show and, being in Newcastle, she was desperate to meet the cast. She ended up at the Bijoux bar, which is known by fans of the show as a place where they go and the whole lot of them turned up,” said a source, speaking to The Sun newspaper.
“They welcomed Ellie with open arms and spent the night doing shots and knocking back cocktails together. Despite their reputation, Ellie couldn’t believe how lonely they all were and asked if she could join them on the show. The lads – in particular ladies’ man Gas – seemed well up for it,” the source added.

Before her night out with the Geordie Shore cast, Ellie took to Twitter and informed her followers: “I’m in Newcastle and you know what that means #fckinmortal.”
