Love/Hate read head Susan Loughnane said people who watch the explosive drama frequently ask her for drugs.
The actress plays Debbie in the hit RTÉ drama.
According to The Irish Sun, Susan said: “[I get stopped by people] looking for heroin. I always do!
“I’d be walking along dressed as myself thinking I look lovely and people are like ‘Have you got any gear?’
“And I think, ‘Do I really look that bad?’”
The actress laughs about the surreal situations that have come from appearing on the hit draw.
Love/Hate has been criticised in the past for glamourising gangs.

However Susan insists otherwise.
“It’s not being glamourised as you get more into the series.
“They all end up in stick situation and it’s showing what it’s really like.”
The actress joined the series last year and played gangster John Joe’s love interest.
Susan deeply enjoyed working alongside The Wire actor Aiden Gillen and said he helped her a lot with her acting.
“He teaches you a lot on the set,” she finished.
It was reported yesterday that Love/Hate is expected to return to our screens this autumn with another explosive season.
