Nicole Scherzinger and Leis Hamilton – are they a couple? Aren’t they a couple? Did she dump him on the spot when she found out he had taken some women back to his hotel room for a private party recently?
The answer, ladies, is no. The X-Factor judge has finally spoken out and rubbished all the nasty rumours about her relationship with the Formula 1 driver. In fact, not only are Nicole and Lewis still going strong, but according to the woman herself, they’re actually “kindred spirits.”
Well, that’s a relief.
The Irish Independent reports that despite all the horrible rumours circulating about the future of Nicole’s relationship with Lewis, she is still smitten and has told Cosmopolitan that the couple are stronger than ever and connected because they share a similar outlook on life.
“You have to love yourself first before you can expect it from someone else. And trust and communication are key. Me and Lewis are from similar upbringings, so we share a similar outlook,” said Nicole, speaking to Cosmopolitan.
“We’re kindred spirits and hearts – that’s what ultimately connects us,” she added.
So romantic, right? But Nicole was quick to add that her relationship with the driver is still a firm “work in progress.”
“My grandma taught me the person you want to be with isn’t going to be Prince Charming – it’s going to be the person you’re going to be able to work on a relationship with. It’s always a work in progress, like everything,” she added.
Well, it looks like Nicole has forgiven Lewis (for now anyway). Is there another celeb wedding on the horizons? We’ll actually cheer when these two make it down the aisle!
