When we think of a reality television talent show host, we’ll be honest and say that Khloe Kardashian isn’t exactly the first name that springs to mind. Actually, it’s probably the last name to spring to mind.
Needless to say, we were surprised when we found out that Khloe, the baby Kardashian sister, is firmly in the running to become the hostess of the next season of the US X-Factor.
Yes, we were surprised, but we can sort of see it working. Honestly.
The Irish Independent reports that the 28-year-old has reportedly beaten fierce competition from other wannabe presenters to claim a place on the shortlist of finalists who have been hand-picked for the role. Apparently Khloe is up against six others, although she is rumoured to be the favourite.
Khloe is known for being outspoken, witty and we have no doubt that her charisma will shine if she was put in the position of host (seriously, could you imagine the backchat she’d give the judges? C’mon. That would be hilarious!).

TMZ is reporting that Khloe, who is married to Lamar Odom, desperately wants to pick up the mic and land the role of presenter for the next series of the show.
Apparently Khloe and the other six finalists will be made go through a series of rigorous screen tests over the next two weeks, and the Kardashian will not be receiving any special treatment simply because of who she is. She’ll be made audition just like everyone else, to ensure that she earns her place if she proves to be successful.
