Still, there are plenty of other Tinseltown couples out there that are still earning the big bucks. Forbes have just published a list of the World’s Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples in the world. These guys have stayed strong and are still splashing out on heated swimming pools, recording studios, sports cars and commissioned artwork.

In first place, Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z…
Power couple Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z top the Forbes list of the world’s richest and famous. The duo were ranked as runners-up last year but climbed to the number one spot this year. Beyoncé may have taken time out to give birth to their daughter Ivy Blue Carter but she is still bringing in the big pay-checks from her older hits. Beyoncé’s total earnings amount to $40 million (over €32 million) a year and Jay-Z isn’t too far behind, their joint income amounting to $78 million (nearly €63 million).
In second place, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady…
In second place are last year’s winners, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady. The 32-year-old is still first place when it comes to racking up modelling gigs, endorsement deals and jobs within the fashion industry. She rakes in some $45 million (€36 million) on an annual basis. Her husband, New England Patriot player Tom Brady, is playing on a four-year $72 million contract and is following in his wife’s footsteps as a model, albeit a sports one. The two of them hauled in $72 million (nearly €58 million) between May of 2011 and the May of this year.
In third place, David and Victoria Beckham…
A famous British couple came third. Nope, not Will and Kate, we’re talking about a world-famous soccer player and his fashion designer wife, Victoria. As well as being one of the world’s highest-paid soccer players, David Beckham makes about $46 million (€37 million) a year on his endorsement portfolio which includes Burger King, Sainsbury’s and Samsung. Victoria is on her way to catching up with David, thanks to her passion for fashion. The couple earned a total of $54 million (€43.5 million) last year.
In fourth place, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie…
Hollywood’s most famous couple, Brangelina, come in at a steady fourth place. Not too shabby for Brad, Angelina and crew. The acting couple earn a combined $45 million (€36 million) a year. The couple’s big news this year was Brad’s proposal to partner, Angelina.
And finally, in fifth place, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith…
Last, but certainly not least, are superstar couple Will Smith and actress Jada Pinkett Smith. After taking a short break from the big screen, Will came back in a big way with Men in Black 3. Jada and Will’s combined annual salary was $40 million (€32 million) last year.
