There is a very strong possibility fans could see Dannii stealing the limelight in this year’s show.
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ producers are begging Aussie Minogue to take part in the upcoming season of the hit television show.
BBC bosses desperately want Dannii to strut her stuff on the famous dancefloor but the 40-year old is still trying to make up her mind.
A TV insider told the Irish Daily Mirror today that the ‘Strictly’ team would love to have Dannii as a contestant.
“She would be a huge attraction. There has been a series of talks with her and the team, and the ball was very much left in her court.”
Strictly bosses are said to believe Dannii’s opportunity on the show would be a major coup after her falling out with Simon Cowell, 52, on the rival show ‘X-Factor’. The media mogul left the Aussie artist devastated when he claimed he had a secret affair with her during her stint as a judge in the reality talent show in 2007.
It was confirmed in April, after a series of talks, she would not take part in ‘X-Factor’ this year.
The shows have long been rivals as they are broadcasted at the same time each week, ‘Strictly’ on BBC, ‘X-Factor’ on ITV.
The new season of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ kicks off in September.
