Proving once again that she does whatever she pleases, Madonna last night ignored warnings from police and brandished a gun onstage.
The singer and her backing dancers have been using a variety of replica weaponry in her current tour, and received warnings from British police to drop the guns after her Hyde Park gig in London.
There was a suggestion that Scottish police would step in and stop the gig if Madge defied the orders, but she did exactly as she pleased and the show went on.
Speaking to Scottish paper ‘The Daily Record’, a spokesperson for Mother’s Against Guns said’ ‘Madonna and her dancers using replica guns was always in bad taste but given what has happened in Colorado it is even worse. She should know better.’
Madonna’s MDNA tour jets into Ireland this week, as she plays the Aviva Stadium this Tuesday night, June 24th.
