Is this the new ‘Bridesmaids’?
It would take one very funny movie to replace, or even equal, ‘Bridesmaids’ in our affections, but ‘Bachelorette’ is about to try.
Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Lizzy Caplan play three school friends brought back together to act as bridesmaids for another, but considerably less popular, old schoolmate, played by Rebel Wilson.
Naturally, many things go drastically wrong in the run-up to the big day. Sound familiar?
Dunst, however, is insisting that ‘Bachelorette’ offers something different to the monster hit that was ‘Bridesmaids’. Speaking to E! she said; ’I think Bachelorette takes it to a much darker, more independent place.’
The trailer doesn’t look all that dark to us, but it does look pretty funny.
