Bruce Springsteen and his band aren’t bothered if they break curfew at tonight’s concert in Dublin’s RDS.
According to the Irish Independent, Steve Van Zandt, guitarist of Bruce’s E Street band was quizzed on whether or not the boys would be playing late tonight.
“You taking bets? Bet on it. We don’t intend to break curfews, we just always do. They are at the wrong time. The problems with curfews is that they are scheduled too early. We need to reschedule the curfews,” he told the newspaper.
Thirty five thousand fans will travel to the RDS tonight for the first of two outdoor Bruce Springsteen concerts to be held in the venue this week.
The curfew debacle comes after Bruce and the E Street band along with former Beatle Paul McCartney broke curfew in London’s Hyde Park last weekend.
The London Metropolitan Police pulled the plug on the rockers when their three-hour set ran over the scheduled curfew.
For all you lucky girls heading to Bruce tonight, expect a late one!
