The Korean Association of Medical Journal Editors have reported a surge in women looking to maintain a fuller bush, saying:
“Such females may suffer from low self-esteem and psychological problem in addition to the aesthetic problem.”
The procedure involves harvesting a thin strip of scalp (where hair follicles are strongest) on the vagina.
Taking 2-4 hours to complete, the costs start at around €1,500. According to reports, it’s believed 10% of Korean women are now opting to sport a bigger bush, with increased pressure from fellow females in changing rooms being one of the top reasons women cite for booking the procedure.
While we’re not sure we’re totally sold on the concept, we’ll definitely take it as an excuse to miss our next bikini line booking.
