If you’re anything like us, your travel wish list is probably endless. There are so many incredible places to see around the world, and nothing makes us more excited than knowing that they’re all just a plane ride or two away.
We’ve put together a list of ten of the most stunning spots from around the globe that are definitely worth a look.
Some we’ve been lucky enough to visit, and the others are top of our hit list. How many have you visited?
1. Koh Phi Phi, Thailand
Anyone who’s visited Phi Phi knows that it’s impossible to capture the beauty of the place on camera. This paradise island is one of the most peaceful and stunning places in the world. No car or roads, just sun, sea, sand and sparkling turquoise water for miles. Take a trip on a colourful long-tail boat to nearby Maya Bay, home to Leonardo di Caprio’s The Beach, where you can snorkel, sunbathe and soak in the picturesque surroundings for days. Bliss.
2. The Great Wall of China
In fairness, it’s a great wall. Stretching out over 5,000 miles like a never-ending dragon, it unfurls across deserts, mountains and grasslands from the east to the west of China. Take a cable car up to one of countless viewing sections to experience incredible scenery and one of the most awesome man-made structures in the world. Choose one of the quieter viewing sections like Jinshanling to avoid the crowds and soak up the gorgeous vista in peace.
3. Machu Picchu, Peru
Built by the Incas over 500 years ago 2,000 feet above sea level, this must-see in Peru is evidence of the fascinating Inca Empire at the pinnacle of its power. If you’re feeling energetic, take a few days to hike towards the summit. The view upon ascending the 50 steps leading up to the final pass at Intipunku (Sun Gate) will blow your mind.
4. The Dead Sea, Israel / Jordan
Head to The Middle East to float in the saltiest and most mineral-laden water in the world. Its surface and shores are over 1,400 ft below sea level, making it the lowest place on earth. World-renowned for its healing properties, a dip in the Dead Sea is an experience you’ll never forget or replicate.
5. The Grand Canyon, Arizona
The grandeur of the world’s most famous canyon and its breathtaking surrounding landscape will leave you feeling pretty tiny, in a good way. One mile deep and stretching over one million acres, there is no one must-see sight at this Natural Wonder of The World; the awe-inspiring landscape will make you realise it’s more than just a view.

6. Angkor Watt, Cambodia
Say what? Built by the Khmer Empire from the 9th to the 15th century, Angkor is the largest temple complex in the world, sprawling across 400 kilometres. The vastness of the site has to be seen to be believed. Hop in a tuk-tuk at 4am to see the sun rise behind the Temple of Angkor Wat and spend the rest of the day visiting the countless other stunning temples including Ta Phrom (as featured in Tomb Raider), the Bayon Temple (that’s the one with the faces) and so many more.
7. The Pyramids of Giza, Egypt
A visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx offers you the chance to take a serious step back in time to the days of ancient Egypt. Hop on a camel for an authentic experience at the only surviving ancient wonder of the world, and marvel at the extraordinary sights and shapes rising out of the sand before your eyes.

8. The Great Barrier Reef, Australia
Home to one of the most of the incredible ecosystems on the planet, this marine wonderland off the coast of Queensland is a place full of adventure. The vast and vibrant world beneath your sailboat boat will leave you breathless.

9. Halong Bay, Vietnam
Nestled off the northern coast of Vietnam, Halong Bay is made up of thousands of limestone karsts and islands in a myriad of shapes and sizes. Halong translates as ‘where the dragon descends into the sea’, and legend claims the islands of Halong Bay were created by a great dragon from the mountains. Spend a night or two on a cruise and wake up in paradise to explore the floating villages.
10. The Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Last on our wish list is a visit to this 14,763 sq km piece of land that inspired The Lion King. With over 500 species of wildlife and stunning savannah scenery as far as the eye can see, The Serengeti National Park is one of the world’s best wildlife-watching locations. And when we do get there, we’re going to take it all in from a hot air balloon. Because, why not?
Go explore the world. Adventure awaits you.
