A mother and her three-year-old son were hospitalised yesterday, following a carjacking in Donabate.
According to Breaking News, the incident occurred at Donabate Golf Club when a man jumped into the Honda vehicle and drove off, before colliding with a Mazda on Hearse Road.
The female driver of the Mazda suffered major injuries to her leg, while her three-year-old son sustained facial cuts and chest bruising.
Their injuries are described as not life-threatening. However, the driver of the stolen car is in a serious condition and said to be fighting for his life today.
