Fans of Love/Hate will be delighted to hear today that creator Stuart Carolan is already planning a sixth series.
Carolan, speaking at the Dublin premiere of 71 last night, said that the hit crime drama would continue on the national broadcaster for along as the public and RTÉ wanted it.
As the season opener for the fifth series aired, Carolan said; “You read loads of things in the paper, last year they were saying it was our last year.”
“We’re in development so we’ll see. We are developing a sixth one, so we’ll see what happens. But it’s not over, no. There’s no guarantee, RTÉ could turn around and say they don’t want it.”
