The new iPhone 6 Plus has been getting a lot of flack online after users revealed that the phone has actually started to bend and warp in the space of just a few days.
The new device has disappointed a number of people, with many taking to social media to complain that the phone has bent after just a couple of days of being carried around in their pocket.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which were launched worldwide last Friday, have been the hot topic of social media for the last few weeks, but now, it is attracting attention for all the wrong reasons in what some users are dubbing ‘#bendgate’.

The flaw is reported to be as a result of the phone’s aluminium alloy frame and the fact that this latest model is thinner than their usual one. So far, bendgate only seems to have occurred in the iPhone 6 Plus.
Apple have yet to comment and until then, maybe don’t put your iPhone in your pocket for too long!
Love that this #bendgate issue provides the ultimate hipster dilemma: latest iPhone or skinny jeans.

Love the apologists saying “well duh, just don’t put your iPhone in your pocket!” What, am I supposed to buy a purse? #bendgate
