A recent survey has revealed that couples have been having less sex in 2014, compared to last year.

A study, commissioned by VoucherCodesPro, discovered that the amount of sex being had has decreased with the average couple doing it twice a week.

Almost 40 per cent blamed financial worries for the lack of action with long working hours being the second most common reason.

Sharing a bed with pets was the third while an active social life was the fourth most common contributory factor.

Over half of those asked, admitted that they were happier about their relationship when they were having more sex.

The survey involved British couples.
