My Chemical Romance Frontman Releases Debut Solo Album

Former My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way has just announced the release of his debut solo album.

Hesitant Alien, will hit shelves Friday September 26th and is available now for pre-order at all digital retailers.

The American rockers, who had massive success with their third studio album, My Black Parade, parted ways in 2013.

Explaining his lyrical inspiration, Way said: “I looked to the Britpop poets like Jarvis Cocker and Damon Albarn, drawing upon everyday life. I also experimented with the abstract, and looked at Frank Black’s work both with the Pixies, and as a solo artist. There was no concept and no call-to-arms”.

Fans who want to get ahead of the game and pre-order will receive the tracks ‘Action Cat’ and ‘No Shows’ instantly.
