The full line-up for Body & Soul at this year’s Electric Picnic festival has been announced.
There will be three stages hosted within the Body & Soul area this year, with an exciting mix of international and Irish cutting-edge acts across The Upstage, Earthship and the Body&Soul Main Stage.
On the Main Stage, tUnE-yArDs will headline a Friday night bill that brings partygoers from the quiet acoustic subtleties of UK’s Lau through to the buzz-saw onslaught of heavily tipped Irish combo Girl Band, whilst Edinburgh’s Young Fathers, Berlin’s Oum Shatt and Montreal’s Merril Garbus complete a stellar international cast .
Saturday sees Meltybrains? share the limelight with Kate Boy and Linkoban, as well as some psychedelic glam rock and killer basslines from France’s Moodoid and Donal Dineen. The weekend will be rounded out with performances from Glass Animals, USA’S Perfume Genius and Francois and the Atlas Mountain.
Weekend tickets for Electric Picnic, which takes place in Stradbally in Co. Laois from 29 to 31 August, are on sale for €229 from www.ticketmaster.ie.
