It seems the bedroom (or the kitchen, depending on what you’re into) isn’t the only place you can get an orgasm. The gym is also a popular destination.
According to new research, by Get The Gloss writer Ahmed Zambarakji, more women are experiencing exercise-induced orgasms (also known as EIOs or ‘coregasms’).
While pole-dancing, spinning and weightlifting topped the list of arousing activities, any exercise that engages your abs can apparently bring on an orgasm.

In fact, the study found that almost half of the females asked said abdominal exercises were responsible for their coregasm. A quarter admitted that they had been turned on by weightlifting with 20 per cent saying yoga had helped them climax.
But it’s not just gym bunnies that need to watch out as 10 per cent said they could have an orgasm during a brisk walk.
And while you may be thinking that it’s the best news you’ve ever heard and you’re going to spend all your free time in the gym from now on, a fifth of women said that it wasn’t an enjoyable experience and that they felt conscious climaxing in such a public place.
Debby Herbenick, co-author of the Sexual and Relationship Therapy study, said: “These data are interesting because they suggest that orgasm is not necessarily a sexual event, and they may also teach us more about the bodily processes underlying women’s experiences of orgasm”.
