This week’s #HerHeroOfTheWeek goes to the one and only Bill O’Herlihy.
Okey Doke, get ready for some tears…
Last Sunday may have marked the end of the World Cup for another four years but it also saw the end of an era as RTÉ’s Bill Bill O’Herlihy hung up his presenting cap and bid farewell to football fans.
RTÉ decided to document Bill’s final day after an incredible five decades of service… from Bill combing his hair to tributes from old friends and colleagues the likes of Brian Kerr, John Delaney and Des Cahill, this will make you slightly emotional.
It’s a very rare occasion that we witness our lovely brothers over at JOE shed a tear but this video had them fighting over an entire box of Kleenex tissues.
