Coronation Street’s Antony Cotton has hinted that his upcoming storyline could spark some controversy.
The actor, who plays Sean Tully on the soap and recently signed a new one-year-contract, told Attitude that he is looking forward to the new story which starts this autumn.
He explained: “By the fact that Sean is a resident homosexual of the parish, it is a gay storyline. It’s going to be a story that’s never been done before, and it’s a great story.
“I’m thrilled and very excited by it. It’s a real honour for us to do it, because it’s going to wind a lot of people up. I can’t tell you anymore about it”.
Guess we’ll just have to stay tuned to see what happens!
