On the 7th June 2004, The Killers released their debut album, Hot Fuss. Yes, that is TEN YEARS ago – we’re feeling slightly old.
It went straight into the Irish charts at the top slot and was the start of a beautiful musical friendship between the country and the band.
The critically acclaimed, Hot Fuss, was nominated for prestigious accolades in categories such as The Grammy’s ‘Rock Album of The Year’ and Brit Awards ‘International Album of the Year’, however failed to take home either awards.
In 2013, the album was also ranked no.33 for the ‘Best Debut Album Ever’ by Rolling Stones magazine.

The Killers play Belfast’s Tenants Vital Festival for yet another year. Tickets for the August 21st date are on sale now from Ticketmaster.
It was a touch task to dwindle this down, as the album in its entirety is pure indie rock ‘n’ roll musical gold.
