There are so many films on TV on a weekly basis, we thought we would draw your attention to some of the better movies that you can check out from the comfort of your own home. Here are seven of the best films that are on TV this week.
1. North Country, Monday, TG4, 9.30pm.
Based on a true story, Charlize Theron plays a victim of sexual harrassment in the workplace which later became the first major sexual harrassment case in the US.
2. 17 Again, Tuesday, E4, 8pm.
Granted, Zac Efron is a litle on the young side here but who wouldn’t want to watch 2 hours of Zac Efron we ask you?
3. True Lies, Wednesday, 3E, 10pm.
An Arnie classic, our hero plays a secret agent who is forced to come clean to his wife after they are kidnapped by terrorists.
4. X-Men, Thursday, Film4, 9pm.
The second in the second trilogy (still with us?) is released in a couple of weeks so you may see a lot of the X-Men popping up on your screens until then. Here is the original, unfortunately not the best but still a good show.
5. Dumb and Dumber, Friday, TV3, 9pm.
We are simply going to say if you haven’t seen this comedy classic, you must. If you have, you will understand why you must watch it again.
6. Moon, Saturday, RTÉ2, 9pm.
A film that has certainly gained a lot of cult ground, Moon follows an astronaut as he enters his last few days in service on the moon with his freaky friend, computer GERTY.
